A. Szafranski asked:It's family legend that my grandfather, Brownie (Braunislaw) Szafranski pitched in the major leagues and left to fight in WW2. I can't find him on any roster. Can you help me find his team and info?

His name does not appear on Baseball Reference or Baseball Almanac, both great resources for baseball statistics and history.
