Stealing third base

Stealing third base

Cody asked: Who are the players to hit 50 homeruns and steal 50 bases?

Rick answered: Cody, thank you for your question.

There has not yet been a player to hit 50 homeruns and steal 50 bases in one season.

There is a 40/40 club, of which there are 4 members.

1. Jose Canseco 1988 Oakland Athletics

2. Barry Bonds 1996 San Francisco Giants

3. Alex Rodriguez 1998 Seattle Mariners

4. Alfonso Soriano 2006 Washington Nationals

Yours in baseball,

Rick

Trout... NEW
by: Aden

Bonds was better than Trout at everything hitting: All time HR and BB leader as well career.445 OBP, the guy only struck out 100x once in his rookie year(Trouts done it 6X already and averages 2x mpre SO and less BB. FIELDING: Bonds has 8x gold gloves, just gonna stop there. BASERUNNING: 500 career steals and a 40/40 club member. They averagethe same per season atm but that will change as Trout get older and in turn will drop goes for everyone besides Ricky and hes doesnt count lol.

Actually, Barry Bonds and Brady Anderson have hit 50 home runs in a season and stole 50 bases in a season, just not in the same season.
