Chicago White Sox, for 2013, 81 games, total attendance 1,768,413, average per game home 22,105, on the road 27,333. Home attendance ranked 24th out of 30 teams.


Chicago Cubs, 2014 to date, 52 games, total attendance 1,700,701, average per home game 32,705, on the road 33,631, 11th out of 30.


Chicago White Sox, 2014 to date, 52 games, total attendance 1,134,260 average per home game 21,401, on the road 28,403, 28th out of 30.

For whatever reason, the Cubs have always had a loyal and steady fan base. Nation wide they are always a big draw, even in their down years.

That mystique does not seem to be true for the White Sox.
